The premier Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur students bagged 485 job offers on the inaugural day of campus placements from top recruiters like Microsoft, Qualcomm etc.
About 12 students received international job offers from Microsoft, Navi, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm and Deutsche Bank.
The placement statistics highlight the success of IIT Kanpur students, with 428 students securing coveted positions through campus placements and Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs).
Notably, 216 students surpassed traditional hiring methods, securing PPOs from both national and international companies.

IIT Kanpur was established in 1959 and declared to be to be an Institute of National Importance by the central government through an Act of Parliament. It is best known for the highest standard of its education in science and engineering and seminal R&D contributions over the years.

The Institute has a sprawling lush green campus spread over 1,055 acres with large pool of academic and research resources spanning across 19 departments, 25 centers and 3 interdisciplinary programs in engineering, science, design, humanities, and management disciplines with more than 570 full-time faculty members and approximately 9,000 students.
