Despite a challenging economic and job environment, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow has achieved 100 percent summer placements.
The Institute completed Summer Placements of 2022-2024 for the 38th batch of PGP and 19th batch of PGP-ABM students, which comprised the largest batch in its 38 year history.
It secured 570 offers for 566 students, placing them in different roles spanning consulting, finance, general management, IT & analytics, sales & marketing, operations & retail ecommerce.
IIM Lucknow achieved highest ever average and median stipends of Rs 1.41 lakh per month and Rs 1.50 lakh per month respectively. The highest stipend reached Rs 3.50 lakh per month.
Prestigious first-time recruiters included Alkem Laboratories, Berger paints, Bharat Serums & Vaccines, Big Basket, Castrol, CK Birla, DSP Investment Managers, GEF Capital Partners, IvyCap Ventures, Lincoln International, L’Oréal, Ninjacart, Redseer Consulting, SBI Capital, Sony Pictures, The Rohatyn Group, Transunion Cibil, and Whiteboard Capital.
Major legacy recruiters included Accenture, Aditya Birla Group, Adobe, Alvarez & Marsal, Amazon, Arthur D. Little, Atlassian, Avendus Capital, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Citi Group, Colgate-Palmolive, Deloitte, Deutsche Bank, EY, Goldman Sachs, Google, HUL, ITC, J.P.Morgan Chase, Kearney, KPMG, McKinsey & Company, Mondelez, PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, PwC and Tata Administrative Services (TAS).
IIT Kanpur beats pandemic with bullish placements
“Despite the current state of economy, the placement drive was a huge success due to the relentless support of the recruiters and the placement teams, making it the best placements with more than 185 recruiters participating in the process,” an IIM Lucknow communiqué said.
