The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh is looking to launch logistics, warehousing and industrial park projects worth almost Rs 40,000 crore.
These infra projects are part of the agenda to fuel UP’s ambitious goal to become India’s first $trillion economy by 2027.
These private projects would be launched under the aegis of UP State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) at the proposed groundbreaking ceremony (GBC) in Lucknow.
The event is a follow up to the UP Global Investors Summit (GIS) in February 2023, which helped the state garner 19,000+ investment proposals of about Rs 38 trillion.
These projects span various sectors viz. logistics, warehousing, industrial parks, manufacturing, food processing, chemicals, automobile, minerals, leather etc, and will be launched in Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Chandauli, Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida), Varanasi, Jhansi, Amethi and Bareilly districts.
Meanwhile, the state will also participate at the forthcoming World Economic Forum meeting in Davos, Switzerland slated during 15-19 January 2024.
