The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) continues to expand its reach far and wide to offshore locations.

Recently, the Institute signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Medical Sciences, Cuba, while extending an agreement with Rosenberg European Academy of Ayurveda (REAA), Germany for five more years.

With the latest developments, AIIA has in its kitty 15 international partners and 35 national partners.

According to AIIA Director Dr Tanuja Manoj Nesari, the new agreements were signed at the recently concluded World Ayurveda Congress in Goa.

“This partnership comes at a time when the world has begun accepting Ayurveda and other traditional branches of medicines. Modern scientific research, evidence-backed studies, clinical trials and exchange programmes and patient care, we have been enthused by the overwhelming response we got in Goa,” she noted.

Besides, AIIA has launched a satellite centre in Goa, which Dr Kesari termed as a “remarkable milestone” achieved by the Institute. It was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 11 at the World Ayurveda Congress.

The Goa satellite centre of AIIA, situated in Dhargal village of Pernem Taluka in North Goa, provides a perfect blend of ancient wisdom and modern technology in the field of tertiary care services.
