Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Speaker Satish Mahana today inaugurated the new branch of Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Limited in the posh Gomti Nagar area here.
Ujjivan Small Finance Bank is a mass-market focused bank catering to financially unserved and under-served segments.
Its promoter, Ujjivan Financial Services Limited (UFSL) commenced operations as an NBFC in 2005 to provide a full range of financial services to the ‘economically active poor’ who were not adequately served by financial institutions.
Meanwhile, Mahana lauded the Bank for giving 9 percent interest to deposits of senior citizens. He advised the Bank to provide even more facilities to entrepreneurs with regards to advances.
The Bank offers MSME loans ranging from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 3 crore on easy terms. It offers banking facilities to NRIs as well.
GST Grievance Redressal Committee member Manish Khemka also addressed the select gathering.
