The Uttar Pradesh government is promting Sanskrit language as well as employment-oriented education in the state.
Under the direction of UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath, the state has recognised 73 new Sanskrit colleges.
Besides, the UP Secondary Sanskrit Education Council has launched four new diploma courses to enhance employability.
Currently, diploma-level training is being provided in 184 institutions statewide.
The government’s continuous efforts to develop Sanskrit education are set to benefit tens of thousands of students.
Establishing new Sanskrit institutions, particularly in rural areas, will open up opportunities for students to pursue Sanskrit studies.
Sanskrit, a cornerstone of India’s ancient knowledge tradition, is also emerging as a medium for modern education and career growth.
Recognising its relevance, the state is actively working to make Sanskrit education more accessible and career-oriented.
