The Uttar Pradesh government has adopted the ‘Super 30’ template for speedy infrastructure and industrial development in the state.
In the Lucknow division, comprising six districts, 30 major development projects have been clubbed as ‘Super 30’ for faster pace of development.
The constituent districts in Lucknow are Unnao, Sitapur, Hardoi, Lucknow, Lakhimpur Kheri and Rae Bareli.
Each of these six districts has five projects to its respective kitty. The clubbing is expected to aid prompter review and necessary follow up so that the projects keep their timelines, a UP government spokesperson said.
These projects were launched by the Yogi Adityanath government at the groundbreaking ceremony on February 19, 2024 in Lucknow and pertain to different sectors including housing, skilling, food processing, infrastructure etc.
The companies investing in these projects include top firms viz. Tata Technologies Limited, Ashok Leyland, Rimjhim Stainless Limited, RHL Profile Limited, Reliance, Dalmia Bharat Sugar, Berger Paints, Haldiram Snacks Manufacturing, Zuari Inven Bio Energy, DCM Shriram Limited, Balrampur Chini etc.
