The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) today announced the appointment of Rachna Jindal as the new Northern Region Director.
Based at the CII Northern Region Headquarters in Chandigarh, Jindal will ovrsee CII operations across key states of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and the Union Territories of Chandigarh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh.
She brings close to two decades of extensive experience within CII, having joined the organisation in 2006.
She has played a pivotal role in driving major strategic initiatives, beginning her career in the Central Trade Fairs division.
Jindal was instrumental in organising prominent trade exhibitions, including Auto Expo, IMME, and IREE, along with international showcases such as Enterprise India, aimed at boosting India’s global trade.
Earlier, she was leading a strategic partnership with NITI Aayog focused on digitally enabling Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) – a key initiative for enhancing competitiveness and productivity in the sector.
“The Northern Region stands as a vital economic engine for the country. I look forward to working closely with state governments, industry stakeholders, and the central leadership to advance CII’s mission of promoting inclusive and sustainable growth,” she said.
