Leading financial and consultancy firms have participated in the recently concluded summer placements at the premier Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow.

The major recruiters comprised Accenture, American Express, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Citi Group, Deloitte, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, J P Morgan Chase, KPMG, Mastercard, McKinsey etc.

In all, the IIM Lucknow concluded summer placements for the 2025-2027 batch, logging 580+ offers for its 41st batch of Post Graduate Programme (PGP) students and the 22nd batch of Post Graduate Programme in Agribusiness Management (PGP-ABM) students.

This year, the highest stipend stands at Rs 3.95 lakh per month, while the highest international stipend offered is Rs 2.5 lakh per month.

Meanwhile, the average stipend recorded is Rs 1.67 lakh per month compared to Rs 1.43 lakh per month last year – an increase of more than 16 percent.

The median stipend is Rs 1.72 lakh per month vis-a-vis Rs 1.50 lakh per month last year.

Prof Prem Prakash Dewani, Placement Chairperson, IIM Lucknow, said this year saw a commendable summer placement drive, with participation from marquee firms across diverse domains.

The 2025-27 batch includes 187 freshers and 345 students with substantial prior work experience across various sectors.

The students secured placements in a range of sectors viz. Consulting, Finance, Marketing, Product Management, Operations & Retail and e-Commerce.

Meanwhile, the Adani Group offered its selected interns a tuition waiver in addition to a competitive stipend.

The summer placement’s legacy recruiters included Accenture, Aditya Birla Group, Adobe, Alvarez & Marsal, American Express, Amazon, Arga Investments, Avendus, Axis Capital, Bain & Company, Bernstein, Boston Consulting Group, Citi Group, Colgate-Palmolive, Deloitte, Deutsche Bank, EY Parthenon, Godrej, Goldman Sachs, Google, HUL, ITC, J P Morgan Chase, Kearney, KPMG, Marico, Mastercard, McKinsey & Co., Media.net, MMT, Pidilite, Procter & Gamble, PwC, Reliance, Tata Administrative Services (TAS) and VISA.

In addition, the first-time recruiters comprised Barclays (RSG), CRISIL, D E Shaw, Dream Incubator, Edelweiss, Eternal, Galderma, Henkel, HSBC (IB), IMAP India, India Alternatives, Intellimation.ai, I Squared Capital, Ionic Wealth, Michelin, Mondelez, Morgan Stanley (IB), Nestle, Neo Asset Management, Nivea, Pinpoint, Salesforce, Shapoorji Pallonji, Qualcomm, Wells Fargo and Vector Consulting Group.
