Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has reiterated his $trillion agenda saying the state is fast progressing to achieving the ambitious goal.
Chairing a review meeting in Lucknow yesterday, Yogi directed all the government departments to align with the overarching $trillion economy target.
He emphasised upon key policy reforms, budget utilisation, and public welfare initiatives to boost the socioeconomic landscape.
He instructed for simplifying processes and enhancing efficiency, stressing that empaneled hospitals under Ayushman Bharat and Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana must receive payments within a month.
Highlighting the estimated boost to the Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) in UP from the recent Prayagraj Maha Kumbh, he suggested for an economic impact analysis.
He said efforts should be made to identify and elevate local startups to unicorn status, while loan fairs be held across the state.
Marking eight years of the BJP government in UP, a three-day special event will be organised across all 75 districts to showcase achievements in service, security and governance.
He ordered officials to conduct weekend field visits instead of meetings at headquarters, to ensure implementation at the ground level.
Meanwhile, a new policy is in the offing in UP to resolve long pending property sales, facilitating faster disposal of unsold properties.
