Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) continues to propel the ambitious $trillion agenda of the Yogi Adityanath government.

Over the past eight years, industrial plot allotments have surged by approximately 320%, land allotments by 360% and employment generation by nearly 350%.

Simultaneously, UPSIDA’s operating revenue has more than tripled, underscoring the state’s rapid industrial advancement and growing investor confidence.

In 2017–18, only 191 industrial plots were allotted. By 2024–25, the number soared to 798 — an impressive 318% increase.

Similarly, land allotted to industries grew from 114 acres to 526 acres during the same period.

Employment opportunities facilitated by UPSIDA have also expanded significantly.

In 2017–18, the initiatives created 11,570 jobs; by 2024–25, that number had jumped to 51,761 — a 347% rise, reflecting the authority’s pivotal role in empowering the youth and boosting the state’s industrial ecosystem.

UPSIDA’s operating revenue rose from Rs 586 crore in 2019–20 to Rs 1,900 crore in 2024–25 — over a threefold increase.

These figures are a testament to UPSIDA’s efficient management and the rising trust of investors in UP’s industrial potential, a state government official said.

Over the last eight years, UPSIDA has transformed industrial infrastructure and positioned UP as one of India’s leading industrial states.

By offering a transparent, streamlined, and investor-friendly environment aligned with state industrial policies, UPSIDA continues to drive inclusive and sustainable growth.

UPSIDA CEO Mayur Maheshwari said CM Yogi Adityanath’s vision of making UP a $trillion economy is steadily becoming a reality.
