Uttar Pradesh wheat procurement in the current rabi marketing season has touched 0.66 million tonnes (MT).
In just 42 days, more than 420,000 farmers have registered at the state purchase centers for the 2025–26 procurement season.
Since the start of wheat procurement on March 17 in UP, about 119,000 farmers have sold 0.66 MT of wheat, a government spokesperson said.
Following Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s directives, UP food and civil supplies officials are actively reaching out to farmers for ensuring seamless procurement process.
The farmers can register or renew their registration for wheat sales over the designated portal fcs.up.gov.in or through the UP KISAN MITRA mobile app.
Registration through the portal/app is mandatory for selling wheat to the state procurement agencies.
