Uttar Pradesh Tourism is set to participate in IFTM Top Resa 2025, the International & French Travel Market, scheduled during September 23-25 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.

Through a dedicated stall, the Yogi Adityanath government will showcase UP’s cultural richness, spiritual depth and experiential tourism offerings to the European travel community.

The pavilion will highlight UP’s sacred circuits — from Ayodhya and Mathura-Vrindavan to the transformative Buddhist Circuit and the eternal ghats of Varanasi.

The visitors will also experience the grandeur of heritage marvels such as the Taj Mahal, alongside the unique Perfume Tourism of Kannauj, where centuries-old deg-bhapka traditions of natural fragrance-making continue to flourish.

Adding vibrancy will be glimpses of the state’s celebrated festivals, cuisine, crafts and performing arts.

UP Tourism & Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said UP is home to timeless culture and spirituality that continue to inspire travellers across the world.

“At IFTM Top Resa 2025, we are proud to present the splendour of our state to Europe — from the eternal ghats of Varanasi and the sanctity of Ayodhya to the architectural wonders of Agra and the living perfume traditions of Kannauj,” he noted.

France has always admired India’s heritage and artistry, and this platform is an opportunity to deepen cultural appreciation, strengthen tourism exchange and welcome more European travellers to discover Uttar Pradesh, he said.

Known as the cradle of the Buddhist Circuit, UP takes visitors on a journey through the life and teachings of Lord Buddha.

Beyond Buddhism, the state is home to India’s most iconic destinations — the Taj Mahal in Agra, Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir, the ghats of Varanasi, Prayagraj’s holy confluence, and Lucknow’s cultural charm.

Its globally renowned festivals including Dev Deepawali, Maha Kumbh, Taj Mahotsav and Rangotsav bring alive the state’s living traditions.
