To transform Uttar Pradesh into ‘Udyam Pradesh’ (Enterprise State), the Yogi Adityanath government is fast tracking the redevelopment of industrial areas.

As part of this initiative, the UP State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) is working on a comprehensive rejuvenation of 24 industrial areas spanning more than 4,000 acres in all.

UPSIDA will implement infrastructural improvements, including road construction using Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) technology in Agra, Mathura, Meerut, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Mau, Kanpur, Lucknow and Rae Bareli districts.

These initiatives will also encompass the development of amenities such as street lighting, CCTV, telephone stations, sub-stations, street furniture, boundary walls and entry gates.

In fact, UPSIDA has commenced the preparation of a Detailed Project Report (DPR), which will guide the phased implementation of the proposed construction and development activities.
