Taj Carnival begins on Dec 13Taj Mahal

The much awaited Taj Carnival, a celebration of art, craft, culture and cuisine, will commence in Agra on December 13.

The 10-day festival will continue until December 22, offering visitors an unforgettable experience.

Organized by Uttar Pradesh Tourism, the vibrant event aims to providing a unique cultural feast for tourists.

Tourism and culture minister Jaiveer Singh said UP is one of the fastest-growing states in terms of tourism, with Agra being a prime destination.

Known for its iconic landmarks such as the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri, Agra attracts a significant number of visitors.

A dedicated Fun Zone will cater to children with entertainment and recreational activities.

In addition, a variety of cultural programs will be organised daily. Tourists from across India and abroad will enjoy the festivities till late in the evening.

UP is renowned for its distinctive cuisine, music, dance, handicrafts and local products that are celebrated worldwide, which the Yogi Adityanath government is looking to leverage for tourism.

“The festival not only offers tourists an immersive cultural experience, but also promotes local livelihoods by boosting income for artisans and small businesses,” he added.

Taj Carnival promises to be a remarkable platform for showcasing UP’s rich heritage while leaving visitors with cherished memories.
