Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 3rd edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) in Greater Noida on Thursday.
The five-day extravaganaza ‘September 25-29’ will showcase the state’s industrial and manufacturing prowess before domestic and global buyers and investors.
The UPITS 2025 will also highlight the state’s growing agricultural strength. Five agricultural universities, UP Beej Vikas Nigam, and the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), Varanasi, will participate in the mega event.
The show will provide a platform for Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) as well as manufacturers of agricultural products, equipment, seeds, fertilisers, and crop protection chemicals.
The Yogi Adityanath government will feature a whole gamut of industrial products especially under the purview of its flagship One District One Product (ODOP) basket.
Visitors will get the opportunity to explore advanced farming practices and technologies adopted in UP.
Progressive farmers and agri-companies will gain international exposure, with the entire spectrum of agriculture represented under one roof.
The UP agriculture department will showcase agricultural institutions, education, Mandi Parishad, farm equipment, fertilisers, seeds, and plant protection solutions.
