The industrial development of an economy should be based on green investment, and the natural reserves of energy should be harnessed for human welfare.
To achieve this overarching objective, industry chamber ASSOCHAM today organised the ‘4th Green Investment and Sustainability Summit 2024’ in Lucknow.
Addressing the gathering, UP industrial development minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi said the state is developing industries while ensuring environmental protection and planned use of energy resources spanning green energy, solar, hydro, bio plastic etc.
He said UP was providing a host of incentives and sops in the green energy sector, which was growing fast owing to pro-industy policy framework.
Meanwhile, Nandi invited private companies to invest in the UP green energy landscape while promising all possible help in their projects.
Special guest BJP leader Neeraj Singh said due to the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is witnessing an unprecedented development in the field of green energy and solar energy.
While UP is a leader in its efforts to mitigating climate change, the Yogi Adityanath government is looking to achieve its ambitious $trillion economy target by 2028.
