Uttar Pradesh is looking to showcase its rich array of tourism circuits at the forthcoming Prayagraj Maha Kumbh 2025 starting next month.

A specially designed, UP State Pavilion across nearly 5 acres, will showcase the grandeur of the state’s cultural, spiritual and historical heritage.

The Maha Kumbh congregation will be witnessed during a 45-day period from January 13 to February 26, 2025.

More than 400 million pilgrims, devotees and tourists are expected to congregate at Prayagraj for the Maha Kumbh.

The pavilion will feature Ramayana Circuit, Krishna Braj Circuit, Buddhist Circuit, Mahabharata Circuit, Shaktipeeth Circuit, Spiritual Circuit, Sufi-Kabir Circuit, Jain Circuit, Bundelkhand Circuit, Wildlife and Eco Circuit, Craft Circuit and Freedom Struggle Circuit.

A gigantic 15,000-sq ft map will use 3D technology to depict prominent locations like Ayodhya, Kashi, Mathura, Prayagraj, Kushinagar, Sarnath and Naimisharanya to highlight their historical and spiritual importance.

The pavilion will also host a vibrant handicrafts market, showcasing the rich craftsmanship of UP.

To promote UP’s flagship One District, One Product (ODOP) initiative, 75 stalls representing all the districts will display the respective products.

Additionally, three big stages will host cultural performances, while 20+ food stalls will offer a variety of regional and national cuisines.

For an immersive visitor experience, the UP State Pavilion will feature selfie points designed around the theme of the Maha Kumbh, allowing tourists to capture eclectic moments.

UP Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said the pavilion will showcase the state’s commitment to preserving and promoting its rich cultural, spiritual, and artistic legacy.

“This event will offer visitors a unique opportunity to experience the essence of Uttar Pradesh’s heritage at one place,” he noted.
